Yes. I am a nerd. But, I'm also a dumb nerd. So, last night, I was on a mission. A mission to make sure that I get a copy of the latest Harry Potter right when it comes out, at midnight on Friday night/Saturday morning. Sadly, I was unsuccessful. Borders told me that all their copies of the book have already been reserved (since last week) and that I would have to be put on a waiting list, meaning they'd call me if they have any left. A WAITING LIST!?!??!?!?! Gawd. My brother tells me, "you should've reserved it months in advance, like a true fan." Yep. Why didn't I think of that?
So, I guess I won't be one of the first people reading the book this time. My brother was kind enough to offer his book to me after he finishes, which he predicts will be Saturday morning. Haha. NERD! Otherwise, I will be at Costco when it opens to get my hands on Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows. Hip hip hooray!
