This Just Can't Be Summer Love

July 4th falling on Wednesday makes being productive impossible. I might as well have taken this week off. Mondays are Mondays and I don't do much. Today is practically a Friday, so again, I'm not doing much. Thursday will basically be like a Monday because we're recovering from July 4th drinking. And then Friday is Friday and that's that. A whole week wasted. I take it back. This is a great week to be at work. I'm getting paid. Awesome.

A quick rundown of my last week/weekend. It was Flora's birthday last Monday... she's 24. We used to laugh at people who were 24 when we were in college. And now that's us. F---. I'm trying to convince her to move up here so that we can once again conquer the city. Woot. On Friday, Kirk (finally) visited me in Mountain View. I took him out to eat and attempted to get him drunk. But the night was cut short. Boo. Also, went to a house party and yeah... it was fun? Haha. Saturday, Christina and I headed out to the city for a fabulous shopping day (and haircut day for her). I bought stuff that I love, but I'm too lazy to describe it all here. That's Christy's blog, not mine. Later that night, we went to Ana Mandera for a party. It made me realize how much I don't like clubbing. Never again. Ok, I won't say never, but dare I say that we're too old? Time is creeping up on all of us. Scary. Then Sunday, I went to the Alameda County Fair. No, I'm not in high school. It was semi-fun. I ate funnel cake and won a baby goldfish by throwing a ping pong ball into a glass. I also watched Live Free or Die Hard, which was surprisingly very entertaining. I want to marry Justin Long. Nerds are hot.

As for tonight and tomorrow, I'm not 100% sure of what the plans are. Will is visiting again, so we'll be having a reunion as usual. I really want to watch Transformers and maybe License To Wed (only for JIM!). I also really want to bbq and eat meat. Lots to do. And of course, there will be alcohol.
